Just a little challenge/ test of my own, the goal was to create a pleasing rendering of water. I have wanted to use liquid elements for client work for quite a while now, I've just never had the time to properly delve into the relevant techniques and concepts.
There's not much i can say about this that you couldn't find out in the project files which i have made available at the bottom of the page. Just be careful when you open it, the poly count is somewhat bloated. That is one of the things that will take further experimentation to improve, a peer of mine has alluded that the use of "normal maps" maps may be the way to go. If i do figure out a way ill be sure to post the project files so everyone can learn from my mistakes!
